I’m very excited about Fractora, a new, state of the art treatment that I’m using in my office to help get rid of wrinkles and improve the skin’s overall texture and tone. Using the most advanced fractional radio frequency (RF) technology available, Fractora provides superior anti-aging improvements and has been shown to attack defined wrinkles that have deepened over time.
Because of its exceptional ability to work deep within the skin, Fractora can heal and smooth out wrinkles that may have only responded to invasive resurfacing treatments in the past, such as the more aggressive fractional CO2 options which can cause damage to the skin’s surface; leading to extensive recovery times.
How Fractora Works:
Fractora is truly unique. It delivers RF energy to the skin through tiny pins that produce localized heat and small micro-lesion dots in the treatment area, such as the chin, the forehead or the cheeks. The gentle heat that is produced by the Fractora pins within the sub-dermal tissue of the skin, promotes collagen restructuring for skin rejuvenation and improved appearance. Not only does it work well on wrinkles, but it also works to help smooth out scars and correct discolored skin.
Additional Benefits:
Another benefit of Fractora is that it can be used on various skin tones. It offers little risk when it comes to procedures performed on ethnic skin types, especially those that are darker than others. In addition, there is much less risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation with Fractora than with CO2. Because different tips can be used that vary the depth of the treatment, as well as the density of the pins being used, I can control almost every aspect of the procedure and directly alter each session to the exact needs and requirements of my patients.
What Areas Can Be Treated?
Because Fractora is much less invasive than similar treatments that go deep into the skin, it is safe to treat areas of the face that have been shown to pose risks with other products. Fractora can be safely used on the neck, the cheeks, and on smile lines, as well as on the upper and lower eyelids. Because of its proven results and the positive feedback from my patients, I do believe that Fractora is the treatment of choice for wrinkle reduction and smoother, more radiant looking skin.
