It seems that more and more men are turning to cosmetic surgery to better their appearance and boost their self-esteem. The ASAPS (The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) reported that in the last 10 years, the number of men who’ve opted for plastic surgery has jumped 45%. Some of the most common male procedures are Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery), Upper/Lower Blepharoplasty (Upper/ Lower Eyelids), Browlift, Facelifts, and Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction). But, Liposuction (removing fat from the neck and body), remains the #1 cosmetic procedure for men, with 52,000 procedures performed in 2013 alone. Not surprisingly, there has also been a notable increase in men requesting facial injections such as BOTOX® and/or dermal fillers. Looking good isn’t just for the ladies anymore; way to go guys!
