ArteFill® is an injectable dermal filler that is effective at diminishing moderate to severe wrinkles in the face and provides relatively long-lasting effects when compared to other similar treatments. Unlike most other fillers, ArteFill® stimulates the natural production of collagen, which in turn provides firmer and smoother skin for up to 5 years after the injection is given.
Some improvement can be noticed within a few hours after having this treatment. Improvement will continue to happen over time, with the maximum results being noticed anywhere from three to six months after treatment. The results are expected to last for several years. Although the skin will continue to age, those who have ArteFill® treatments will nonetheless look younger than if they had not done so.
