Your Facelift – Customized to Your Unique Needs
Your face is one of a kind—so your facelift should be too. At MAE Plastic Surgery, we focus less on catchy terms for different facelifts (like “mini facelift” or the “full facelift”) and more on results. We want to address your specific areas of concern using the most effective techniques. When possible, we’ll use less invasive treatment options to minimize your downtime. Terms like the mini-facelift, midface lift, and traditional facelift don’t matter as much as the results we’ll help you achieve.
Before your consultation, spend some time contemplating your goals for surgery. What do you love about your face? What areas do you hope to improve? What are your biggest facial aging concerns? Dr. Epstein will work together to find the facelift that meets your needs whether it’s a mini facelift, traditional facelift, or something else.
What Can a Facelift Do for Me?
Are you a good candidate for facelift surgery? We’ll help you decide if a facelift is the right fit for you. You may be a good candidate for a facelift if:
- You have visible aging in the lower two-thirds of the face.
- You have loose skin on the jaw, chin, or neckline.
- You want to look younger while retaining your unique facial appearance.
Facelift surgery only addresses aging in the lower portion of the face. If you want to rejuvenate the brows or around the eyes, you may need brow lift surgery or eyelid surgery. These can be performed alone or in addition to facelift surgery.
Full facelift or mini facelift, we can rejuvenate your face and help you feel comfortable and confident in your appearance again.
What Can a Mini Facelift Do for Me?
A mini facelift is typically done for patients who have moderate amounts of sagging that’s localized to the lower face. A mini facelift usually requires shorter scars than most facelifts, which is why so many patients tend to find it appealing. Again, it will really depend on how much work there is to be done. And if your surgeon determines that you have substantial sagging on the neck and lower face, he’ll recommend a more powerful facelift procedure.
Not Quite Ready for a Facelift? Less Invasive Facial Rejuvenation Options
Even a mini facelift is surgery, and some patients just aren’t ready for it, either physically or mentally. If you aren’t ready for a facelift, don’t worry—there are still options for you. We offer a variety of less invasive options. These treatments are not alternatives to facelift surgery, but they are good options for those that want to delay or avoid surgery. Their results are often not as dramatic as surgery and a series of treatments may be needed. Some of these treatments can be paired with facelift surgery to further enhance your results.
- Dermal Fillers – Like fat grafting, dermal fillers restore lost facial volume. Rather than using your own fat, fillers use substances like hyaluronic acid. Results are very natural looking and long lasting. Most patients enjoy results for several months or longer, depending on the filler used and the area treated.
- BOTOX® – Stop stubborn wrinkles with BOTOX® or Dysport. These compounds relax the muscles that cause certain types of wrinkles. BOTOX® is an effective treatment for lines between the brows, crow’s feet, and forehead creases. BOTOX® is minimally invasive and requires no downtime after treatment. Dysport is a similar type of treatment that offers a few additional benefits to some patients. We’ll help you decide between BOTOX® and Dysport.
- Micro-Needling – Help your skin to heal itself. Micro-needling “wounds” the skin using small needles in a specialized device. This activates the body’s healing response and can improve skin tone, quality, and texture. Get the best skin possible!
There a lot of different types of facelift surgery and we’re here to help you navigate through them to find your best look. Call today and schedule your consultation at MAE Plastic Surgery.
