At Transcend MedSpa, clients experience a variety of medical grade, highly effective facial treatments and chemical peels, all performed by licensed aestheticians. Below you will find descriptions of each. For optimal success and healthy, radiant skin, it is recommended that clients schedule facial treatments every 6-8 weeks and continue their healthy skin regimen at home using Dr. Epstein’s highly advanced skincare products.

AlphaHydroxy Peel

Available in three different patented formulas to effectively exfoliate, bleach and inhibit pigment production, this peel helps to repair and reduce breakouts, controls oil, softens fine lines and provides a more even, smooth skin texture.

Deep Pore Cleansing Facial

This relaxing treatment is appropriate for all skin types and combines a variety of products (customized to your skin) that will help control oil without drying, and supply hydration where it’s needed.

Glycolic Peel

This doctor strength Glycolic acid therapeutic treatment sloughs away dead skin cells and loosens congested follicles making it a great treatment for combating acne. Glycolic is also known to be effective in diminishing fine lines and superficial wrinkles.

Men’s Facial

This basic facial is customized for a man’s complexion and includes cleansing, toning, steaming, a rejuvenating mask, and a relaxing massage for the face, neck and shoulders.

Oxygenating Facial Trio

Restore tired sluggish skin depleted by toxins, pollutants, allergens, improper diet and solar damage with the Oxy Facial Trio. Ideal prior to a special event, it is an active treatment that draws oxygen to the skin’s surface, creating a rapid warming sensation and a rosy glow.

Pumpkin Peel

A powerful antioxidant treatment, this peel serves as an alternative between other peels. Its main source of nutrition, which is pumpkin, offers more than 100 beneficial components, including the highest concentrate of natural vitamin A, C and Beta Carotene.

Sensi Peel/Ultra Peel

This exfoliating treatment comes in two different formulations and is primarily for sensitive skin types. With Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) and plant derived progesterone as two of its major ingredients, this light peel leaves your skin feeling plump and hydrated. This is a great choice for those who have rosacea, and is also wonderful for pigment control and acne, due to its antibacterial properties.

TCA Peel (15%)

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) can be an effective way to soften acne facial scarring, and is most commonly used for more intense peeling. Fine surface wrinkling, superficial blemishes and more in depth pigment problems are also often treated with this peel.

Dermaplane Skin Refinishing

Dermaplane helps to “refinish” the skin’s top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping. This treatment gives the skin a smoother appearance, and when performed prior to other treatments, it can remove the “peach fuzz” which can trap excess dirt and oil. Dermaplaning can be used alone or in conjunction with other procedures such as chemical peels, enzyme masks and light therapies. Dermafile Skin Polishing

The Dermafile is a skin polishing and resurfacing tool mode of stainless steel and finely crushed diamonds. This file lightly polishes the top layer of dead skin, revealing the newer, more vibrant skin that lies below. Once these cells are removed, the skin immediately feels and looks smoother, healthier and more youthful. The Dermafile, when combined with selective peels, is a safe and comprehensive approach to healthy skin.
