Updates on Lipodissolve

While at the scientific sessions during the ASAPS meeting there were two very promising presentations on the use of “Lipodissolve” , a mixture of phosphatydal choline and Deoxycholate, for treatment of unwanted subcutaneous fat deposits.  Both demonstrated limited efficacy and more importantly, both showed good safety data. The bottom line is that when used by the right providers on the right patients in the right environment, lipodissolve can be an effective tool for those with isolated fat deposits and don’t want surgery.
